Small Business Outlook Positive for 2015

We are putting the final touches on our latest small business report, however I did want to share some positive news. According to our January survey on 1,104 SMBs, 35% believe the economic conditions are going to improve over the next twelve months. This is up 25% from the prior year’s results.

Businesses are also optimistic about sales with 51% expecting their sales to improve by the end of the year. This is up 19% from the prior years results.

To go along with the positive expectations, SMBs plan to spend more on marketing efforts this year as well. Nearly 35% of survey respondents stated they will increase their marketing budgets. This is up 52% from the prior year and only 9% plan to decrease their spend.
